Final Porfolio

 I wanted to show all my work in the cutest way possible, I tried to make it very pastel to show personality with the artworks.  I had to brighten the Lyrical collage a lot for printing but it still seems to look nice.

Logo fini

Final logo sketch.  Uploaded here to transfer.  I decided to make the cat face forward and towards the viewer, with happy cat eyes like they do when relaxed.  I used a cat paw for the end to end it with a cute feel.

Vector

I chose a ferret for the unusual colour patterns they have and the texture of their fur. It allowed me to use darker and lighter colours in a way that was still natural. 

Animation

Some Rotoscoping, some frame by frame, put to the shows soundtrack.  The Rotoscoping was for me to start to get a feel for the animation, so I wasn't going in completely blind.  I watch this show enough to know how the characters move and their proportions.  There are also many references done by other people that I used to help me.

Storyboards

For the animation I will make one day I will be using my own series of my magical person and their friend.  The two fight demons and sadness.  Even though I did not end up making this specific animation, I do plan on making it for maybe my senior project because this is something close to my heart.

Collage

I used blurs to give things a surreal feel and tried to match the lighting of the added items so they would look like they fit.  The girl is looking over her room and evaluating her life's choices as she looks at the tourture things she has spread around otherwise innocent things.

Magazine cover

I wanted to do something silly and with animals, I cut out pictures of animals for fun and used a childish font to match the absurdity of the magazine.  Im not the happiest with the result, but I feel the extractions are good quality even if the jar is not the best.  I know I need to work on design and plan on working with that in the future.
